How much does a camera system cost, and can you quote from photos?
It depends on the property, and we cannot give you a real price from photos. A camera system has to be designed on site, because sightlines, mounting points, cable routes, lighting, and the spots where you actually need to identify a face or a plate all change what is required. For a business buying a system, the on-site assessment and design are free. For a home, the visit is a service call billed at $200 for the first hour, then $135 per hour. Once we have seen the property, you get a clear written quote before any work begins.
Can you repair or take over my existing cameras?
It depends on the system. Many older or budget systems are closed and proprietary, so parts, firmware, and app access are locked to one vendor and cannot be serviced or expanded independently. When that is the case, we will usually recommend replacing it with a high-end, open platform we can fully install, support, and expand, rather than patching something we cannot stand behind. If your system is one we can work with, we will tell you honestly.
Do I need a monthly subscription?
No. We set up reliable local storage so the footage is yours, and secure remote viewing is included without a mandatory cloud fee.
Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Yes. You get secure, encrypted access to live and recorded footage from any device, wherever you are.
Can you expand a system you installed for me?
Yes. When it is a system we designed and installed, we add cameras and coverage as your needs grow, all on one clean, documented setup.
